The current Chief of the Belleair Police Department is Bill Sohl. The prior police chief, Thomas Edwards, resigned from the police department in September of 2014 after a report was released that showed serious problems in the police department including problems with his leadership style and failing to update the department’s outdated policy manual.
The police department is located at 901 Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Belleair, FL. The normal office hours of the BPD is Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
