Founded in 1915, the Pinellas Park Police Department serves a population of over 50,000 residents living within 16 square miles. 

Under the leadership of the current police chief, Michael L. Haworth, the Pinellas Park Police Department employs 150 paid employees including sworn police officers, dispatchers, and support staff.
